Intro

FinXL is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our consulting team on a 12-month contract, deployed with a leading insurance client on a key transformation engagement. This role is part of the FinXL Associate Program, designed for junior professionals looking to build a structured career in project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Support Program and Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and tracking.

  • Coordinate project meetings, record actions, and manage communications.

  • Maintain key project artifacts including RAID logs and status reports.

  • Assist with the management of risks, issues, and project dependencies.

  • Support budget and resource tracking activities for the delivery team.

  • Manage project documentation and ensure alignment with governance standards.

  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure delivery transparency and engagement.

Key Skills & Experience

  • 0-3 years of experience in a project coordination or junior PM environment.

  • Relevant tertiary degree or initial Project Management certification.

  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.

  • Proactive, coachable mindset with a desire to learn project methodologies.

  • Prior exposure to Jira, Confluence, or MS Project is highly regarded.

  • Ability to work effectively within a structured team environment.
